Shields Electric
Founded by Jeff Shields in 2003, Shields Electric began as a one-man company built upon a solid foundation of unmatched customer service. With years of experience serving the Sacramento area, Jeff viewed the creation of Shields Electric as an opportunity to be a part of the larger business community in Sacramento. By 2005, he had started to hire staff and by 2008, he watched as customers began spreading the word about his business and quality of work.
While 2008 was a tough year for many businesses as the economic downturn continued, Jeff and his staff were busier than ever. Through social media outreach via Facebook and Twitter and online review sites such as Yelp and Angie’s List, the Shields Electric team has continued making a positive impression on customers long after the job is done.

Jeff Shields grew up knowing that he would, one day, become a skilled tradesman. The son of a union sheet metal worker, Jeff often found himself helping his father around the shop. By the mid-1990’s Jeff had officially become a certified journeyman electrician. He now owns and operates a 5-person team and has plans to grow Shields Electric in the future.
Jeff is a native of the Sacramento region and currently calls East Sacramento home. He has strong ties to the community and can be found volunteering his time for East Sacramento community-building projects, coaching a local little league team and spending as much quality time with his family as possible.
